Ok so you've probably watched the first official trailer by now, if
you haven't do it now! (View
Trailer) The Game looks amazing the graphics are top notch, with
realistic lighting and water effects- very much as you'd expect from a
PS3 / Xbox 360 based game. The main character seems to be Russian or
eastern European, with a background of murder, human smuggling and
slavery. GTA 4 is set in New York City, which is a new venue for
the Grand Theft Auto series.
Some interesting points to note from the video are: stock market
screens, the boat is registered from Liberty City...

The very first official Grand Theft Auto 4 trailer will be released
at the end of the month, on the 29th March 2007. Very little information
about the game has been released so far so this will be our first look
at the game, characters, graphics, location, story etc...
GTA 4 will ship for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 from it's initial
release on 16th October 2007.
In Europe, we will have to wait till 19th October 2007. |

| Today Rockstar Games have launched the Official GTA
Vice City Stories Website and the first Vice City Stories Trailer. The
game is out soon (October) on Playstation Portable (PSP) and no doubt
coming to the Playstation 2 in the future. "Vice
City, 1984. Opportunity abounds in a city emerging from the swamps, its
growth fueled by the violent power struggle in a lucrative drugs trade.
Construction is everywhere as a shining metropolis rises from
foundations of crime and betrayal.
As a soldier, Vic Vance has always protected his dysfunctional family,
his country, himself. One bad decision later and that job is about to
get much harder. Kicked out onto the streets of a city torn between
glamor and gluttony, Vic is faced with a stark choice - build an empire
or be crushed."

As I am sure you already know Grand Theft Auto 4 (IV)
is set for release in the US on 17th October 2007.Thats over a year away
I know, but with it being the first grand theft auto for the Playstation
3, and supposedly being released for Xbox 360 at the same time
expectations of the graphics go through the roof. GTA 4 is a new series
for GTA, and this means all of the source code, including the graphics
engine, will be written from scratch instead of being altered versions
of existing code (e.g. San Andreas is essentially GTA3 coding...). The
map and plot for grand theft auto 4 are also very exciting, Rockstar are
being very careful about not giving anything away, but many people are
expecting a brand new setting for this new game.
Vice City Stories is on the way shortly for the Playstation Portable (PSP)
and should be another great addition to the PSP collection of games.
I actually got a chance to play Liberty City Stories on a friends PS2
the other day, and its shocking that I know exactly where I am going
around the city, GTA3 must still be lodged in the back of my mind
somewhere. I took notable dislike however to some of the lacks of
advance. Essentially LCS seems to run on the vice city engine with no
ability to swim or climb over things, and with graphics which won't
match San Andreas. However if, like me, you have a long summer holiday
ahead and want something to occupy your time on its a definite must,
especially at the cheap price (some places as low as £9.99 GBP). |

| I am very sorry that the site has been down for the
last 4 or so days, but the decision was taken by my Hosting company
instead of me. A security vulnerability, which has now been fixed, was
exploited which triggered alarm bells on the server and lead to my
account being suspended until the damage was assessed, the changes to
the server restored and then the security vulnerability fixed. |

A little while ago Rockstar announced that the popular
Grand Theft Auto title Liberty City Stories, which was release
exclusively to the PlayStation Portable will in fact make it onto the
consoles bigger brother, the PlayStation 2! It is planned to be released
in late April. This is not the new generation of grand theft auto games
(commonly known as GTA 4) but essentially GTA3 with motorbikes, planes,
new missions, jumps and hidden packages. Will be an interesting
experience for GTA veterans being in a familiar city, but where things
are so different.

GTA 4
Recently there has been a lot of GTA 4 rumors and speculation about the
game, and especially where its going to be set! As far as i am aware
Rockstar have not confirmed anything yet about this game, although it is
know that it will be base don a brand new game engine as San Andreas was
the last of the GTA 3 series. The biggest rumor has been that the game
will be set in Europe or possibly the UK. As great as this would be I
think we are going to have to wait and see, but as soon as there is some
proper game information emerging we will set up a GTA 4 section to keep
you updated!

Multi Theft Auto - San Andreas
The original Grand Theft Auto multiplayer mod makers are back with this,
their latest mod that as expect allows users to play new muliplayer mode
over the internet set within San Andreas.

The third GTA Liberty City Stories trailer is here, and
it features the multiplayer game play that everyone has bene excited
about! The game also goes on release today in the USA, and another few
days wait till November 4th for us in the UK.

possibly the most advanced and groundbreaking portable game ever! Surely

The official GTA Libery City Stories website has been
launched....
"Chauffeuring Misty, carving persona non grata status for yourself all

Coffee Removal Patch |

Rockstar have now offered downloadable patch to remove
the Hot Coffee part of San Andreas:
"The "Hot Coffee" scenes were not intended to be part of the Grand Theft
Auto: San Andreas experience. If your copy of Grand Theft Auto: San
Andreas for PC has been altered by the unauthorized "Hot Coffee"
download circulating on the Internet, or if you wish to prevent your
version from being so altered, follow the appropriate link below to
download and open the "No More Hot Coffee" game patch."

| "Hot Coffee" Mod Gets
San Andreas Rating Changed |

Shortly after the release of Grand Theft Auto: San
Andreas for the PC a 3rd party mod named "hot coffee" was released which
supposedly unlocked a built-in sex mini game. Due to the discovery of
this the ESRB who rate games in the USA launched an investigation and
have since changed the rating for San Andreas from Mature (17+) to
Adults Only (18+). This only affects the game in the USA! Rockstar are
working on a more secure hot coffee resistant version of the game which
will be released in the 4th Quarter of 2005.
